The top two clubs were promoted to the First Division. The bottom three clubs were required to apply for re-election into the league.

Burton Swifts, amalgamated with Burton Wanderers to form Burton United.

Walsall did not seek re-election to the league.

After the re-election meeting, New Brighton Tower resigned from the League. They were replaced by Doncaster Rovers.
